Halloween fun

Don't be too spooked by the road construction in front of the opera house. You will still be able to get inside for the Halloween shows, but in all likelihood, you'll be walking through the backyard. It didn't keep folks away Labor Day weekend.

And now, we've started rehearsals for "Phantom of the Hazel Green Opera House" and it's sure to be a crowd pleaser. This story was suggested by former puppeteer Coni Vaughn LaBarbera, when we first bought the building. Trust me, it bears only a fleeting resemblance to the Andrew Lloyd Weber version! Of course, it's family-friendly, but full of the corny jokes for grownups.
Performances will be:

11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sat. Oct. 24
2 p.m. Sun. Oct. 25
7 p.m. Fri. Oct. 30
11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sat. Oct. 31

Note the new Friday evening performance. Should be spooky and fun. Feel free to come in costume any time, but especially on Halloween itself.
